Bargain Hunters Rejoice!

Many people believe my addiction to online shopping, should be intervened.  However, once I tell them the deals that I've been able to find they quickly re-evaluate that sentiment.  Online bargains don't end with your work suits or grill tools.  Let me show you how...

In the fashion revolution that is designer deal websites wedding fashion is always popping up.  One of my favorite sites out there is IDEELI On any given day, you can buy a Calvin Klein work dress for $40 and stainless steel spice rack for you kitchen for $25.  But, there are always special days when the Bride's Prize shows up.  Often times these sites have sales dedicated solely to bridal wears.  Everything from your Wedding dress to Mother of the Bride shoes are available.

Right now, on GILT you can find designer dresses for almost half price.  HALF PRICE WEDDING DRESSES?!?  If you think about it, you'd only get these kinds of deals during sample sales, and these dresses aren't from the rack after being tried on by 25 people. So you're thinking, "But, how can I buy this dress online?  What if I don't look good?"  If you already know what type of a dress fits you and you've tried dresses on already, but, can't see to find one you like, I encourage you to go ahead and take the plunge.  There's a good chance that with the money you can save on this dress alterations and tailoring can make it perfect for you.  Any dress you purchase will need to be tailored and altered regardless.  The only time this might not happen is if the dress is custom made and even then you might lose 5 pounds from the time it was made and will need it altered.

These sales don't just have dresses, you can find accessories, bridesmaid dresses, shoes, all of it.  The best way to be on top of these, is to just sign up for EVERYTHING.  Granted you may end up getting 5 extra emails a day.  But, it's worth it when you buy a $500 lace veil for $175.  These sites don't cost any money to register for, just a bit of time and dedication to combing through everything.

Not only can you get bridal wears, but, they usually even have things for the groom. A large portion of the male population have an adversity to shopping in general.  These sales/ sites can help ease the pain of doing that.  Or, you can even just email your groom a link and boom, he and his groomsmen all have designer cufflinks for the wedding.

Even if you don't buy anything, it is good to use these sites/ sales as a resource. It will allow you to see what is out there and what are the prices.  Some designer websites don't show you the prices of the dresses because the boutiques that sell them are able to price them however they'd like.  Like much of what you find on this blog, these sales can always be used as a learning tool.  Help expand your knowledge.  And if you happen to buy something for a steal, then you can put that in the win column.
